Going National Guard, and owe money to University, does the government pay for it?

That is something you will have to ask the National Guard recruiter. Some states will repay student loans, some don’t. Some secure a new student loan, some won’t. Some pay tuition and fees, some don’t. It is up to each state what enlistment bonuses they offer and that includes the student debt things. I would say probably not since the non-loan programs are for going to college now or future, not past. But in the Guard you are earning another paycheck so you will at least have some extra income to pay it back with. If you go in enlisted, when you go through boot camp (BCT) and training school (AIT), you will earn around $1200 per month (before taxes) if they take you in at E-1. If they give you E-3 because of college time, JROTC from H.S. or other things (recruiter can tell you), you can get $1500 (before taxes) per month while on full time status. And they are housing and feeding you during BCT and AIT, so you can put that to your debt. When you come back out into Guard you get a “drill pay” that amounts to 4 days’ active duty pay each month you attend drill. So that would be about $200 for an E-3. If you go in officer (you have to have received your Bachelor’s degree already), I don’t know how long the officer basic and skill field trainings are or at what rank you are paid while you are going through. A second lieutenant (O-1) gets paid $2416 per month, I would think you would receive that rank upon graduation of officer basic at least. So your drill pay would be about $360 per month.

Fins. They have the very formula that frustrated the Pats down the line. The first half of the season, the Pats blasted everyone off the field. Then the Eagles started seeing the importance to pressure Brady and not let him pick you apart. Unfirtunately for them, their backup screwed everything up with an INT run back for a touchdown and a stupid INT at the end of the game to kill their efforts. The Ravens were on top of things, and then that inexplicable sequence of events- the last second TO, the offensive penalty that actually gave the Pats another shot to win the game, etc. The Jags did the exact thing NOT to do and paid for it. And then the Giants brought it to fruition.
The ‘72 Dolphins were a machine, and the defense had the players for frustrating both the QB and WR’s (is anyone *really* depending on Maroney to carry the game?). They had stronger ball hawks in their secondary that what most people remember. Winning that battle gives the offense the chance to play their game, which is grounding people into the earth. And four quarters of Cszonka tends to be more than what most teams could handle in any game, not just ‘72. Plus, that year they beat the Over-the-Hill gang, who were themselves one of the epic teams in NFL history- which wipes out the questions about their regular-season competition, as well as the fact they beat the Vikings the next year to repeat their Super Bowl Victory, as well as having been in the Super Bowl the year before their undefeated season.

Frank, on your vehicle, there is only one oxygen sensor. If you follow the pipes from the exhaust manifolds, you will see where they merge. This is the usual place that the sensor is located. As I mentioned before, you may need the oxygen sensor socket to remove it. This socket has a cutout on the side, so you don’t damage the wire(s) installing and removing it. Alot of the times, you can remove it with a regular box end wrench if there is clearance. Remove the old sensor and make sure the threads are clean in the pipe. When you get the new sensor, it may or may not have anti-seize lube on the threads. If it doesn’t you can get a small packet for less than a buck. Absolutely make sure that the anti seize doesn’t get on the sensor portion, as this will ruin it. After you install it, remove the positive battery cable for at least 5 minutes to clear the trouble codes fro the vehicles computer. Follow this up with a good tune-up and you will be getting good mileage again.

Hi pepto, this is a tough situation, especially as your parents reacted negatively last time you spoke about this.
There are lots of great places online to help teens with depression, and I’ve put some links below where you can find people who really understand what you are going through, including other teens.
Please have a read and consider contacting someone by phone or online to talk things over.
You don’t have to give your name and everything you say is confidential!
There are some other things you can do that are PROVEN medically to help people feeling depressed.
make sure you eat lots of FRESH fruit and veg in your diet, there are certain enzymes and vitamins in these fresh foods that help prevent depression.
Also, walk for at least ten minutes every day. It doesn’t have to eb a power walk, just an easy going walk to the corner and back, at some time in the day when the sun is shining but not too hot.
Walking is known to inhibit the various chemicals that can affect depression.
If these things don’t do enough, you can also try some of the very effective new medications that are about, but diet and exercise are great first steps.
Take care of you, and check out the links below ![]()
Best wishes

okay i agree with the ppl who mentioned corns. to add to what they said, they also come in a variety of colour morphs which can make things interesting ( i mean even more interesting). although ball pythons are considered beginner snakes i tend to think they are big inner for ppl who already have some experience because they are notorious for going off frozen thawed food. which of course causes problems because feeding live rodents can be dangerous to the snake as their bite is highly likely to cause infection. furthermore balpythons can stop feeding for months at a time. so if you are one to easily panic, its not a good choice. they are also notorious for shedding problems if the humidity is not kept high enough. that said they are not aggressive snakes although corn snakes pretty much are as simple of a snake i can think of.

I want to be a ballet dancer,but I have flat feet.What should I do?
If you have the rest of the “required” physical attributes to be a ballerina (i.e. very flexible, perfect turn-out, skinny, etc), flat feet shouldn’t prevent you from dancing, however they might prevent you from studing at the best schools (SAB, ABT). Places like that look for perfection. But play up all your other attributes, and […]

Places like that look for perfection. But play up all your other attributes, and become a fantastic PERFORMER — artistic directors love that! Use your face and your arms to draw the audience’s attention to your upper body. Then they won’t focus so much on your imperfect feet. It’s important to be realistic, though, the ballet world is very tough and very competitive. See the movie Center Stage for an idea about this if you haven’t already! Have a back-up plan. You can always continue dancing for the rest of your life, even if you don’t do it as a career!

A BMX is for doing tricks, not generally for riding around.
A mountain bike can definitely take a city type environment. You just have to pay attention to the type of tires on the bike. Mountain bikes usually have thick treads that help grip the ground, but can sometimes make the ride a little bit too bumpy for the streets. Many of the lower end mountain bikes (good quality ones, not the ones you get at Walmart) have a tough enough frame for the mountains, but use cheaper parts more suitable for city usage.
You might also want to check out hybrid bicycles that are basically mountain bikes fitted with tires that are more suitable for the streets.
Some good quality brands that make mountain bikes are:
Specialized - http://www.specialized.com/
Giant - http://www.giant-bicycle.com/global/
Trek - http://www2.trekbikes.com/
GT - http://www.gtbikes.com/
Cannondale - http://www.cannondale.com/

I watch kids in my home and it works for me. I am able to bring in enough money to get us by and I get to stay home with my kids. For me any sacrifices I have to make are worth being able to here for my kids while they are little.
My advice to you is be picky. Make sure the child that you take into your home is going to be a good fit within your family. Don’t take too many kids. A lot of people get blinded by the money they can make and over extend themselves. I would rather only take a couple of kids and make a little less money but provide quality care for the kids I have. Decide in advance what days you will be closed (bank holidays, school calender) and when or if you are taking vacations and tell the parents right away so they can make their arrangements in advance. Set a sick policy and make that known from the beginning. Have a person that can cover you in the event of an emergency.
If you have any more questions feel free to email me. Good luck!
